Niko collects and stores data necessary to provide its features and personalized experiences. By using the app, you consent to this data collection as outlined in our Terms of Service. This includes:

  • Server data: Server IDs, channel IDs, configured settings, and scheduling preferences.
  • User data: User IDs, preferences, usage statistics, unlocked content, and interaction history.
  • Content data: Text, images, or other materials you submit through the app's features, as detailed in the User-Generated Content section of our Terms.

We store certain internal data such as blacklist entries to enforce moderation and maintain app security. These entries may be kept indefinitely until manually removed.

Direct Messages: All direct messages sent to Niko are logged for moderation and support purposes. These messages are not private or secure and should not contain sensitive information.

2. Why We Collect This Data

We collect this data to ensure the app works smoothly and provides a personalized experience. Specifically, data is used to:

  • Enable core app functionality and tailor responses to users and servers.
  • Store settings, preferences, and unlockable content for users and servers.
  • Moderate user-generated content as outlined in our Terms of Service.
  • Support user reporting features and respond to support requests.
  • Maintain internal moderation and security to protect the app and its users.

User-generated content may be analyzed for moderation, statistics, or service improvement purposes.

3. Data Protection & Limitations

We take your data security seriously and have clear limitations on how we handle your information:

  • Your data is stored securely and used only for the purposes described.
  • We do NOT:
    • Sell your data to third parties
    • Use your data to train AI models
    • Share personally identifying information publicly
  • Logs and reports are kept only as long as necessary to keep the app running smoothly and securely.
  • We do not store message content sent in servers (except for direct messages to the app as described above).

4. Who Can Access This Data?

Your data is private and only accessible to the app owner (duderinooo), who is the only person with access to your stored data.

5. How to Delete Your Data

You have control over your data in the following ways:

  • User Data: You can permanently delete your personal data at any time directly through Niko using the /user settings command. Click Erase Data and follow the instructions. Once confirmed, all your personal data will be permanently removed from the database.
  • Server Data: All server data (server IDs, channel IDs, settings, etc.) is automatically deleted when Niko is removed from your server.
  • After Deletion: No user or server data will be stored again until you interact with the app in the future.

For additional privacy concerns or if you need assistance with data deletion, you may contact us via the Support Server or by sending a direct message to the app.

6. Contact & Support

Niko is owned and operated by duderinooo. For privacy-related questions or concerns, the preferred method is via the Support Server.

If you cannot or prefer not to join the Support Server, you may send a direct message to the app for assistance. Note that all messages sent to the app are logged and monitored for moderation and support purposes.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of Niko following any updates means you accept the revised policy.
