1. What Data We Collect

Niko collects and stores data necessary to provide features across the Discord bot and website. By using the services, you consent to this data collection as outlined in our Terms of Service. This includes:

  • Server data: Server IDs, channel IDs, configured settings, and scheduling preferences.
  • User data: User IDs, preferences, usage statistics, user content, unlocked content, and interaction history.
  • Content data: Text, images, or other materials you submit through the app's features or the website.

We store certain internal data such as blacklist entries to enforce moderation. These entries may be kept indefinitely until manually removed.

Direct Messages: All direct messages sent to the Niko bot are logged for moderation and support purposes. These messages are not private or secure and should not contain sensitive information.

2. Why We Collect This Data

We collect this information to ensure the Services function properly. Specifically, data is used to:

  • Provide functionality across the Services, store your personal configurations, preferences, unlockable content, and uploaded media.
  • Generate and update public leaderboards based on user statistics.
  • Moderate user-generated content as outlined in our Terms of Service.

Please note that user-generated content submitted across the Services may be analyzed for moderation, statistics, and overall service improvement.

3. Data Protection & Limitations

We keep your information safe and private. Here are the strict promises to you:

  • We do NOT:
    • Sell your data to third parties.
    • Use your data to train AI models.
    • Share your personal info publicly.
      • Note: Global leaderboards display Discord usernames alongside app statistics by default, but users can anonymize their visibility at any time via the /user settings command.
  • We do not store message content sent in servers (except for direct messages to the app as described above).

4. Who Can Access This Data?

Your data is private and only accessible to the owner, who is the only person with access to your stored data.

5. How to Delete Your Data

You have complete control over your data across the bot and website:

  • User Data: You can permanently delete your personal data at any time directly through Discord using the /user settings command. Click Erase Data and follow the instructions. This instantly deletes all your statistics and configurations. You can also manually manage or delete your individual configurations and uploaded media directly on the website at any time.
  • Server Data: All server data (server IDs, channel IDs, settings, etc.) is automatically deleted when Niko is removed from your server.

For additional privacy concerns or if you need assistance with data deletion, you may contact us via the Support Server or by sending a direct message to the bot.

6. Contact & Support

Niko is owned and operated by duderinooo. For privacy-related questions or concerns, the preferred method is via the Support Server.

If you cannot or prefer not to join the Support Server, you may send a direct message to the bot for assistance. Note that all messages sent to the bot are logged and monitored for moderation and support purposes.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the bot or website following any updates means you accept the revised policy.
