Everything you need to know about setting up Niko, unlocking memes, and keeping the pancakes flowing.
Just click the Add to Discord button on our homepage. You can invite Niko to your server or install it directly to your account to use it anywhere—even in private DMs!
Absolutely! Niko is completely free to use. No premium tiers, no paywalled commands.
Niko asks for standard app permissions (View Channels, Read Message History, Send Messages, Attach Files, and Add Reactions). You can customize these later, but these are the essentials to make sure textboxes and memes work perfectly.
Just type / in any chat where Niko is hanging out to pull up the command list. Try /help if you need a quick tour, or check our Commands page for a full breakdown.
Keep your chat active automatically! Use /automeme enable to pick a channel, set your posting interval (anywhere from 30 mins to 2 weeks), and tweak settings like diversity (no repeats!) and auto-reactions. You can always adjust this later with /automeme settings.
As you use the /meme command, you'll randomly discover secret meme categories (like fire, minecraft, etc.). Once unlocked, you can summon them on demand using /meme force:[type]. Gotta collect 'em all!
Yes! Hit us with your best stuff using /memesuggest. We manually reviews every submission to ensure quality.
We wouldn't want to spoil the surprise! Keep feeding Niko pancakes and chatting—you might just discover some secrets along the way.
First, make sure Niko is online. If so, type / to ensure the slash commands are registered in your client. Still stuck? Drop by our Support Server and we'll help you out.
Double-check that Niko still has permissions to View the channel, Send Messages, and Attach Files. If you turned on reactions, it also needs Read Message History and Add Reactions. Try running /automeme settings to refresh it!
You either haven't unlocked it yet, or that type doesn't exist. Try typing /meme force: with a random gibberish word to see an error that lists your currently unlocked types!
Blacklists are rare and usually happen if someone abuses features, spams the feedback system, or breaks Discord's ToS. These are generally permanent.

No. We only log direct messages sent to the app for support purposes. Your server chats are completely private. Check our Privacy Policy for all the details.
The best way is to vote for free on Top.gg, invite Niko to your servers, and keep suggesting great memes!
